I.Introduction
This
is a basic guide for those Yu Lings who are still confused with regards
to their builds. I will be focusing more on a FS / Semi-Nuker build
specializing more on Magic Armor. Comments, Suggestions, Questions,
and/or Violent Reactions are always welcome.

II.More info about the Yu Ling Class
QUOTE
Specialization: Support Magic
Weapon of Choice: Spiritual Weapons

Yulings
are part of the same elegant race as that of Yumangs. They too have
flight as an innate attribute. They can heal, curse and can call on the
elements of thunder and wind to do their bidding. They can even raise
fallen comrades in battle.

They are a good match for closed
combatants since their long ranged spiritual prowess complements the
short range of melee warriors, which in turn balances the Yuling's
inadequacy in physical attacks.

Well,
yeah... XD Yu Lings are basically the only support class in PW and by
support, I mean they can buff and heal. Aside from supporting, they can
also curse enemies which sometimes can turn the tide of the battle.
They have freakishly amazing wings which is a plus factor for most
players cheers and the only thing you need to use your cash when playing this class is for MP pots, and repairing & upgrading equipment.

III.Status Points
a.Definition
Constitution
-Increases HP recovery rate and also improves PDef and MDef

Strength
-Improves damage of melee attacks and also improves PDef

Intelligence
-Improves MP recovery rate and also improves MAtk

Dexterity
-Improves damage of ranged attacks and also improves hit rate, evasion, and critical.

B.Stats Ratio

3 INT : 1 CON : 1 STR or 2 INT : 1 CON : 2 STR

-This
stat ratio is most commonly used from lv 1~10 or after the STR
requirement of the weapon is reached. After that, the ratio changes to :

4 INT : 1 CON or 3 INT : 2 CON

-Yes
my friends, the basic stats for any other game for the FS Class.
Personally, I use the latter stat distribution ratio. Its much more
practical compared to the first one.

IV. Skills

a.Offensive Spells

Feather Arrow - Physical - Single Target
The
Basic offensive spell of a Yu Ling. It deals physical - non elemental
damage. It has reasonable casting time and cooldown time. PVM wise, it
will be your killing skill for most monsters. PVP wise, it will help
you kill players with low Pdef and Low Con. Max it out.

Tornado - Magical - Single Target
Again,
another basic offensive spell. Similar to feather arrow, the difference
is that it has a chance to slow down enemies and it has a longer
cooldown. Still, a must for every Yu Ling. Max it out.

Feather Blades - Physical - Area of Effect
Much
like feather arrow but it has a longer casting time and a longer
cooldown. Its also an AoE which is quite troublesome for most
situations. It can attract lots of monsters that are near your target
which may cause unwanted attention. Use this skill wisely. I wouldnt
really recommend this skill.

Holy Lightning - Magical - Single Target
A
Good Nuking skill. The enemy also suffers continous metal damage after
this skill is casted. This skill is one of those max it out or leave it
to lvl 1 skills. So yeah.

Caressing Wind - Magical - Area of Effect
A
Timely skill. Using it on wrong situations can make you die especially
during dungeon raids. I'd suggest you leave this skill to lv 1.

Thunder Rite - Magical - Single Target
This is a great nuke for Yu Lings. Mind not the casting time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Good for both PVP and PVM. PVP Wise, its a good spell against low MDef
characters like Yu Mangs. I really wouldnt suggest you guys to max out
this skill, but atleast raise it to a level where you feel that its
strong enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Fury of the Skies - Magical - Area of Effect
Much
like Thunder Rite. Its a good spell but the only problem is the MP Cost
and the casting time. Again, its completely up to you if you want to
max this out or not.

b.Curses

Ward of 5 Elements - Single Target
Useful when fighting Low MDef characters. Maxing it out is optional. Personally, I'd leave it at lv 1

Ward of 5 Shapes - Single Target
Useful when fighting Low PDef characters. Again, Maxing it out is optional.

Ward of 5 Sounds - Single Target
This
spell can paralyze an enemy for a short period of time. Its useful when
you want to run away, other than that I believe it has no use. You
already have cyclone to slow down enemies. I'd leave it to Lv 1 if I
were you.

Ward of 5 Colors - Single Target
A.k.a The Lullaby.
Yes, it can make enemies sleep which is a plus factor for most
situations. In Arena's or Duels, this is the most common cursing spell
used. I recommend you max this out after you've maxed out your buffs.

c.Passive Skills

Flight Mastery
A
good skill. Although I wouldnt really recommend you max this out, but
this is one of the skills that sets the Wingkin race apart from the
other races. The ability to fly fast. Maxing it out is optional, but
I'd suggest you raise it to a level where you feel that you're fast
enough to fly away or chase enemies, or possibly travel from different
towns via wings.

Metal Mastery
This skill only shines when
its level is high. For FS Yu Lings, dont even dare touch this skill. As
for Nukers, its advisable to max this out.

d.Buffs

Ward of Iron - Single Target
It increases PDef. Need I say more? Max it out.

Ward of Salvation - Group
Similar to WoI but this time it affects the whole party and it lasts for an hour. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ward of Spirits - Single Target
Same with WoI, the difference is that it increases MDef. Max it out.

Alacrity - Group
Much like WoS. Err... you get the picture right? XD

Immortal Counsel - Single Target
It increases your HP and MP regeneration rate. You might not notice it, but it really helps a lot. Max it out.

Wisdom of the heavens - Group
Again, similar to immortal counsel... This time its a group spell and it lasts for 1 hour.

Fervor - Single Target
Nukers will love you for casting this spell on them. It greatly increases MAtk. Again, max it out.

Blessed Symbol - Group
By now, I know that you do get the picture already... right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Barrier of Feathers - Self Cast
Max it out. It can help save you in dire situations.

d.Chants

Touching the Void - Area of Effect
It increases the casting time for spells, as well as PAtk and MAtk. This spell is extremely helpful in TW. Get this spell.

Infinite Aura - Area of Effect
It continuously drains your MP and restores HP to your allies in a radius. Extremely useful in TW. Get this spell.

e.Healing Spells

Prayer of Clarity - Single Target
Ahh...
the dreaded "now loading"healing spell. Increasing its level will heal
more HP but the friggin "now loading" casting time will surely be a
pain in the behind sooner or later. Leave it at lv 1.

Prayer of Calm - Single Target
Similar
to a HP potion. Cast it before you nuke enemies to save time for
healing. Cast it again to recover HP while running away. Melee players
will love you for this spell. Max it out.

Enlightenment - Single Target
Alas,
the fast cast healing spell. I wouldnt suggest maxing this spell out
since this spell is usually partnered with Prayer of Calm. Just atleast
raise its level to 7.

Prayer of Life - Single Target
Yes,
the only ressurection spell. A Great spell for adventurers. The minimum
level for this spell is lv 2 because at lv1 it doesnt save any XP.
Either get this spell and leave it at lv 2 or max it out. ALL PLAYERS
WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU MAX THIS OUT. Me included. lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Dispel - Single Target
It
removes all negative statuses from a target. I really wouldnt suggest
maxing this out. The only reason for maxing this out is because the
cooldown will be greatly reduced. Other than that, there's no reason
for maxing it out. I plan on just leaving this spell at lv 3. I'm still
thinking about rasing the level of this spell.

Morning Glory - Group
No, this is not those sand that the sand man left in your eyes to put you to sleep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Its a group heal. A good spell, really. Max it out.

Endless Sea - Single Target
The combined prayer of calm and enlightenment. Again, a neat spell. Max this out.

V.the Q & A Portion

Q>Why not increase dex?
A>Simply
because Yu Lings dont use Melee attacks, we use Spells and since spells
NEVER miss, there's no need for dex. Also, Yu Lings seldom use Light or
heavy armors so... yeah.

Q>Why only minimal str?
A>We wont use physcal attacks that much. STR is also pumped for weapon and armor requirements.

Q>Why magic armors? magic armors is teeeh suxXXx. Heavy and Light armors PWN!
A>Because
I said so. It required
stats for Heavy and Light armors will eat up all our other stats. We
have spells which can reduce Physical Damage. lol! Plus, Yu Lings should be that much concerned with PAtks since Yu Lings
stay at the back. Let the Yao Shou's and Wuxia's deal with the melee
fighters.

Q>What weapon should I use?
A>Personally, I use m0ld weapons. for more damage and minimize the required stat.

Q>HP or Def Stones?
A>Since you can only see little difference when increasing Def, I'd recommend you stick with HP stones as of now.
